As usual, it was packed and a lot of fun, though I think it's funny how many non-Meeetup people we attract when we are at a venue. It was a great 4th of July party, though we wound up with only a limited view of the fireworks.
It was ok. there were people coming in and out. There were some nice people there. I was the only one who brought bread, most people brought a sinful amount of liquor.
Got there late so I missed all the initial icebreaking, but Mike was cool and made a few introductions. The food was good but the place was a little tight to really wander and mingle. A shout out to Karen and Gary that were sitting at the table next to me, pleasant conversationalists both. All in all it was good, after all, it was only a Wednesday and this is a Friday group!!
I arrived a bit early but it looked like it was going to be good. I had a chance to talk to 2 group members but I got a call and had to leave before the festivities really got going. I do look forward to the next meetup at that venue. Hopefully I'll get to enjoy that one
I started this group so single professionals in their 20's and 30's could network together at well known places in the city.. I have partnered with other groups in the city and typically 300+ people are at our events.
